The Moorestown Community Band welcomes all experienced musicians—from high school students to senior citizens—who are dedicated to performing at a high level. We strive to create a balance between sharing the joy and fun of musical performance and the desire to grow continuously in our musicianship.

​Rehearsals & Season

  • Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Where: William Allen Middle School (801 N. Stanwick Rd, Moorestown, NJ)
  • Season: Our concert season runs from September through June.

Instrumentation

With the goal of maintaining a fully balanced concert band sound, the Moorestown Community Band accepts members who play the following instruments:
  • Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone
  • Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium / Baritone, Tuba
  • Percussion
  • String Bass

​Are you a high school musician looking to give back? Because the Moorestown Community Band is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, student members can earn required community service and volunteer hours through rehearsals, concerts, and behind-the-scenes support.

Ready to play with us? Annual membership dues are $30 per season to help cover our operational costs.
